Assault on Suburbs. Hochul is following the lead of Biden and fellow Democrats in attacking the suburban fabric. She is calling for zoning change that would destroy the character of the suburbs. Her Housing Compact provides for high density multi family developments within one-half mile of train stations. This in the name of equity. Proponents are alleging racism. They want to make every community accessible to all. This flies in the face of millions of middle class residents who worked hard for years in search of a better life for their families.
