Big Spender. Hochul is proving to be a spendthrift. She released her budget proposal of a record 227 Billion yesterday. It calls for 5 Billion in additional New spending. She proposes to fund the increase by tapping into leftover federal COVID monies. After that is exhausted New Yorkers can expect deficits and tax increases. The budget is a laundry list of left wing programs. It includes a Billion dollars to house migrants in NYC. It is likely to be met with fierce resistance from Democrats in the Legislature who want even more. The Governor’s honeymoon with lawmakers was short lived. Big Spender. Like her predecessor Cuomo she is driving the State into the poor house !!
