Big Spender. Hochul is proving to be a spendthrift like her predecessor Cuomo. Her latest brainstorm is to commit 200 Million to revitalize downtowns in communities across the state. Half that will be allocated to metropolitan areas. The other half will go to rural and small town downtowns. Hochul is continuing Democratic urban renewal projects. The concept has long since been repudiated. Such government spending is wasteful and does not work. At best it is tokenism. It is part of the reason why New York taxes are among the highest in the nation. Big Spenders. New York taxpayers are fed up with costly boondoggles !!
