Decision Time. Cuomo has until tomorrow to enter the Democratic primary. He would have to gather 15,000 signatures in one days time. He has shown uncharacteristic equivocation about his intentions. He would be challenging Hochul head on. While he trails her by just a few polling points, most major politicians, contributors, and unions do not want him to run. The Democratic machine has moved on from him. He could run as an independent. He would have until late May to collect 45,000 signatures to form his own party. That would be self-defeating as he likely would split the Democratic vote with Hochul. It would pave the way for presumptive Republican nominee Lee Zeldin to win. It would forever tarnish his legacy as a spolier. Decision Time. Voters are on edge to see what he will do !!
