Hochul Decries Good Guy with a Gun. Speaking yesterday as new gun control laws were implemented, she said that theory is over. She believes that armed private citizens can not prevent a bad guy with a gun. How wrong she is ! Just recently an armed civilian shot and killed a shooter at an Indianapolis mall, preventing greater loss of life. Hochul’s restrictive gun laws prohibit carrying a concealed weapon in sensitive areas such as Times Square, transit stations, houses of worship, bars and restaurants. She rammed the laws through the Legislature after the Supreme Court struck down the state’s gun control regulations as unconstitutional.
