It specifically targets Delaware North, the concession conglomerate which employs Hochul’s husband Bill as Chief Counsel. Assemblyman Ron Kim is concerned the company does not pay its workers the state minimum wage of 13.20 per hour upstate and 15.00 in New York City. Delaware North stands to make Millions off a refreshment contract at the new Bills Stadium. There has been public uproar over the allocation of 850 Million in taxpayer money for the arena. It would benefit Billionaire owners Terry and Kim Pegula who are only part time state residents. The Hochuls deny any conflict of interest.
