Amid the scandal enveloping his administration, Andrew Cuomo’s poll numbers are slipping. Only 36 percent of respondents to a Marist College poll say he should be re-elected. An overwhelming 58 percent of New Yorkers say someone else should become Governor. Voters are fed up with the lies, deceit, intrigue, and harassment. King Andrew’s grasp on power is eroding. A clear majority want someone else to be elected. This represents a dramatic shift in political fortunes. A bipartisan movement is underway to strip him of his emergency powers. Democrats and Republicans alike are clamoring for his removal from office. The tide is turning. Voters will no longer tolerate the abuse and despotic rule. Looking to rid the State of his pernicious presence, we are united as one. Long live democracy.
