Cuomo Associate Granted Bail. A judge has released disgraced businessman Louis Ciminelli from jail. This follows the Supreme Court agreeing to take up his corruption case. Ciminelli was convicted in the scandal marred Buffalo Billion case. At issue is whether an individual who is not a government official can be charged under the federal corruption statute. Hundreds of Millions of state taxpayers money was involved. While Cuomo was not charged with wrongdoing, the matter came perilously close with his big time cronies and contributors.
